We're proud to announce that we received the PC World Class Award 2004 for the Best Anti-Spyware Scanner again this year, and right after receiving the Best Buy award (which by the way shows that we still have the highest detection rate). Our thanks go to everyone who has and is helping us with Spybot-S&D, and to anyone who has contributed in whatever way :)

The downside of this is that Evanzo (a German ISP) terminated one of our update servers (spybotsd.de) without notice due to improper use (they offered unlimited bandwidth, using caps to avoid misuse, but still said we were using too much bandwidth - another good reason to be very careful about anything that offers something unlimited). The good news though is that SecurityWonks offered a replacement which will be in place with the next definitions update, released this evening or early tomorrow.

Regarding updates, I apologize that there were none last week; I was visiting Swedens loudest place and best institution (that I know of) ;)
